THIS IS US

The backyard is an initiative of non-profit organisation C-RE-AID.

It was opened in June 2015 in order to host our students, employees and volunteers. Since shortly, C-re-aid is also using the backyard as an office and meeting place!

For our students and volunteers, The Backyard offers  the opportunity to play volleyball or badminton, relax in a hammock, make a barbecue or simply enjoy a cold drink at our bar. The backyard is open to the public on Friday and Sunday afternoon, when people can enjoy our volleybal field and students of C-re-aid can invite their friends.

We are located just outside of Moshi city so it is both calm and easy to reach. And if you want to enjoy a night out in one of the city’s bars and clubs, the hostel is a great starting point.
